Conservation Pennsylvania is a non-partisan, non-profit environmental organization dedicated to improving the health and safety of Pennsylvania’s citizens, land, air and water. Working to educate the public about the challenges facing the Commonwealth, the organization seeks to provide every Pennsylvanian with the tools and the knowledge to stand up for a cleaner future.
Conservation Pennsylvania is built on the model of the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund and successful allies in 33 states around the country.
In 2017, Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania formed a strategic partnership with PennFuture to work collaboratively to win stronger environmental protections across the Commonwealth. By combining PennFuture’s policy leadership and legal resources with Conservation Voters of PA’s advocacy and political expertise, both organizations will be even better positioned to secure clean air, water, and land for every Pennsylvanian. Conservation Pennsylvania’s staff will lead the new Civic Engagement program at PennFuture designed to increase the number of citizens playing an active role in our democracy and in environmental protections.
